For all those who have received the visa in their passport before the trip, no problem arises. They can go directly to stand in line and have their passport stamped and continue to pick up their luggage.

For those traveling with a visa attestation, they must first go to the immigration office and present their passport, letter of invitation, and visa attestation to the immigration office for the establishment and the affixing of the visa in their passport. Please note that depending on the affluence, the waiting time can be up to 45 minutes, or an hour, but it can also last much less. As soon as the officer has finished, he will ask you to cross the immigration box and customs to go to the airport hall to change your currency in Tunisian Dinar (TND) and come back to pay before withdrawing your passport with the visa. Taxis are available in crowd 24 hours a day at Tunis International Airport. They are recognizable by their yellow color . The pricing is on the meter and we, please, urge you to insist at the beginning that the meter is turned on and check if it is possible to obtain a receipt (for refund) . Nightly pricing and baggage surcharge may also be charged. The transportation between the airport and the Hotel, depending on the road taken and / or the traffic jam, can cost between 18 and 30 TND (6 and 10 Euros)

As soon as you arrive at the Hotel, please submit your room booking confirmation (which you must print and have with you) and your Passport at the reception and all other details will be communicated by the latter.

We suggest to change but just the needed amount for the first needs (visa fees, taxi, etc.) We also advise you to keep your foreign exchange receipts in case you need to change the rest of your Dinars before leaving Tunisia. Dinar exchange to foreign currencies are only done on presentation of the foreign exchange receipt, and only in the bank (or the bank box at the airport) where you made your first exchange.

NB : For all those who will have a big amount of cash with them, please note that the Tunisian Customs does not allow more than five thousand (5000) TND or equivalent per person to be taken outside the country. The excess is simply seized, for breaking the law. So please make the necessary arrangements to avoid any unfortunate incident.
